A Short History of the Breitling SuperOcean

Launched in 1957, the Breitling SuperOcean was designed to meet the growing demand for professional dive watches during the golden era of underwater exploration. Capable of reaching 200 metres water resistance at the time, it stood alongside Rolex and Omega as one of the pioneering Swiss divers. The SuperOcean established Breitling’s presence in tool watches beyond its aviation roots.
