9kt Yellow Gold
Here we have a 9ct gold dressy variation of one of our favourite brands! Tudor offers excellent value for money by providing all the robustness and beauty of Rolex cases and crown with quallty Swiss movements. Since the movements were not Rolex made however the prices were more affordable and allowed the wider market to experience wearing a Rolex made watch without the higher price tag.
This Tudor offers a relatively large (35mm) case with a minimalistic dial design, thin stick hands and baton hour markers and a brushed silver dial. The case is thin with long delicate lugs. The small rose indicates it being pre-1968 when the shield logo was introduced. Many Tudor watches crowns have been removed to be added to restored Rolex watches though this example has retained its Rolex pull out crown.
This is a slim watch designed to slide easily under a shirt cuff.
We have fitted a new brown leather strap with a gold plated buckle to this watch.
This watch uses the manually wound Tudor (ETA) Cal 2402
This has 17 jewels and a 47 hour power reserve.
Frequency of 18,000bph.
The dial is clean with minimal ageing. The crystal has been polished so shows very minimal wear.
The case has has a light hand polish so only shows very light superficial marks.
The movement has been fully serviced by us so is clean and keeping excellent time.
The strap is brand new and unworn.
Water resistance is not guaranteed.
