Rolex Cal 59 Manual Wind

Case material:

Stainless Steel

Ref 2784

Here we have a stunning sector dial Rolex Oyster dating to 1938 with a 30mm steel case, This watch is in beautiful condition for an 81 year old timepiece. The dial has a darker silver tone to the top and bottom quarters and a satin lighter finish to the left and right quarters.

The hands have a yellow lume and pencil/syringe shape which are in extremely good condition. This watch is obviously very old so it's likely these hands are accurate replacements or are original and have been restored with a radium colour yellow lume.

The case is 30mml with long lugs (width of 16mm). The case back is screw down and display the model number and serial number.

The movement is a modified FHF30 (made by Fontmelon) and marketed mainly in Canada), this meant this watch was more affordable and offers a great entry level watch for Rolex collectors.

It has the large Oyater screw down crown which appears to be the original.
