Stainless Steel/ Gold bezel
Here we have a vintage Rolex Datejust with a champagne dial, gold fluted bezel and stainless steel 36mm case.
The Datejust has seen little design changes thoughout it's lifetime , other than bezel variations and an increase in case size in recent years. This model dates to 1970 and comes on a later stainless steel jubilee bracelet dating to 1983. This has the slow set date at 3 underneath a magnifying cyclops window, original hands and screw down crown.
The case back is the classic unmarked Rolex screw down style and the lugs are straight.
The jubilee bracelet fits a large wrist and has a foldover deployant clasp with adjustment holes along the clasp.
This watch uses the Rolex Automatic Cal 1570.
This has 25 jewels and a 48 hour power reserve.
Frequency of 19,800bph
The watch is in overall very good condition with the case showing only light general wear but has been given a light hand polish by us. The dial shows little patination though does have a small mark at the very bottom across the word 'Swiss'.
Bracelet shows some stretching but not too bad and has plenty of life in it still.
