Omega Manual Wind Cal 613
Here we have a smart 1960s Omega Seamaster 600 with a 34mm gold plated case, silver dial and manual wind cal 613 movement.
The dial has a brushed sunburst finish with applied hour markers and lume filled pencil hands. The '600' represents the series of movements that were used in these watches (all manually wound 6XX calibres). The dial also has a bordered date aperture at 3 and an understated minute track between the markers.
The case is gold plated with a stainless steel screw down case back showing the Seamaster Hippocampus. This has the original Omega crown which sets date via pulling out to position 2 (quickset).
This offers a slimmer case and with the gold plating and simple dial is a dressier take on the Seamaster. The watch comes on an aftermarket brown leather strap with an Omega gold plated buckle.
This watch uses the Omega manual wind cal 613.
This has 17 jewels and a 48 hour ower reserve.
Frequency of 19,800
This watch is in overall very good condition. There is some ageing evident on the hands, markers and edge of the dial. The case shows very minimal wear and the crystal has been polshed by us. The movement has been recently serviced so is clean and keeping accurate time. The strap is new and the buckle shows some clear wear to the underside.
