Here we have one of my favourite vintage Omega designs. The Seamaster chronostop features the stopwatch feature it is named for as well as the late 60s/ear;y 70s case design seen on the Speedmaster MKIIs and the flightmaster.

The deep grey dial has a satin finish with applied baton numerals, lume filled pencil hands and an  orange stopwatch hand. Since this is the Seamaster version you also have a rotating inner bezel which functions the same way as a standard divers bezel and is adjusted via the crown at 10. The white minute chapter ring separates the bezel and dial nicely,

The case has a large 41mm size with a satin finish and polished bevels to the edges. The crystal is plexiglass and the case back is screwed down and shows the Seamaster hippocampus logo.

This watch has the original crown and appears unpolished. The only part replaced appears to be the crystal.

The movement (cal 865) is a simplified version of the 861 used in the speedmaster professional line and is a well made reliable movement.

This has 17 jewels and a power reserve of 40 hours

Condition Report

This watch is in good original condition. The crystal is scratch free and the case shows some general light wear. The case back shows some scratches where someone has previously struggled to open the case back. We have not polished this as I like to leave vintage sports watches in original condition.
