Here we have a 1958 Seamaster with 'beefy' lugs, 34mm case diameter and an interesting quilt effect dial.
The dial is a brushed silver and displays a date aperture at 3, applied steel markers and dauphine hands
The steel case has a polished bezel and sides with turned down lugs and a snap on case back displaying the Seamaster Hippocampus.
We have fitted a black croc grain leather strap to this watch.
It appears the hands have been replaced by hands from another model, the original hands would have been lume filled.
This watch uses the automatic cal 503.
This has 20 jewels and a 46 hour power reserve.
Frequency of 19,800bph.
The watch is in overall very good condition. There is some wear visible, with a scratch to the case back (across the 'F' in 'WATERPROOF. The movement is clean and keeping excellent timing though does show some wear to the rotor and plates.
