Omega Manual Wind Cal 613

Case material:

Gold Plated

Ref 14765 SC 61

Here we have a 1962 Omega Seamaster with a stainless steel 34mm monocoque case and silver dial. This watch is 'pre Omega De Ville' and was only made for a short period before it evolved into the SMDV in the mid 60s. The idea of a monocoque case was to take away one more weak point for water resistance (case back). This however did mean the movement could only be accessed with specialist tools so this design did not remain popular for very long.

The dial is a sunburst brushed silver and features stainless steel baton hour markers and applied Omega logo. These would have been lume filled though this is no longer present.

The lugs are straight and the crown is original. The case back displays the Seamaster hippocampus logo.

This comes on a quality black leaher strap with a steel buckle.
