Movement Omega Automatic Cal 471
Case material:

Gold Plated

Ref: 2802-6 SC

Here we have a 1956 Seamaster with a 33mm gold plated case, original dial and snap on 'no logo' case back. Interestingly, this movement is not seen so often as early Seamasters used bumper movements and in the 60s the 56X movements were used.

This movement (cal 471) was in production from 1954-1959 and bridged the gap between early bumper movements and the later 56X series. Unlike many Seamasters the ref 2802 does not have the famed Seamaster hippocampus, this isn't exactly rare but is seen much less..

The dial has applied arabic numerals at the quarterly hours and dagger markers imbetween (classic 50s Omega features).

The gilt dauphine hands shows some oxidation but have also maintained the original lume.
