Omega Automatic Cal 552

Case material:

18kt Yellow Gold

Ref SC 14905

Here we have a stunning Omega Seamaster with a linen dial and 34mm case in 18kt yellow gold, on it's original leather strap. The dial has a linen texture with some light patination to the applied hour markers and hands.

The monocoque case is in remarkably good condition with slim straight 18mm lugs. The crown is original, with a split stem, and the movement is accessed through the front of the watch.

The case back shows the Seamaster 'Hippocampus' logo, which is very sharp and appears unpolished. We have however given the case a light hand polish to brighten up the gold. To find a 1962 Seamaster with original strap and crystal is a rare thing so this would make a superb addition to a collection or as a special dress watch.

The dial shows some light patination, and the hands also show some age. The case has very minimal wear with the exterior hallmarks still clear on the lugs. The case back is in superb condition and the crystal has been polished so has very minimal blemishing. The strap is worn though still very wearable.

The movement has been serviced so is clean and keeping excellent time.
