Here we have an interesting Omega dive watch, known as the 'Pre Bond' with a 38mm case, unique 'H' link bracelet and Mercedes hands.
This watch is known as the 'Pre Bond' as it is a transitional watch that ran from the mid 80s to mid 90s, this was then replaced with the Seamaster Professional 300m that Bond wore. This is also quite unique and has some features rarely seen in Omegas dive models. Firstly you will notice the bracelet. This is known as a'H' link and other than this model we do not believe this type of bracelet was used by Omega.
The second feature is the Mercedes hands. Omega are best known for the broad arrow hands which at some point have been used on all the sports models. The Mercedes hands however are more associated with Rolex.
This watch can really be seen as the bridge between vintage and modern Omega sport watches.
It has all you would expect from a dive watch, with a screw down crown and case back, lumed hands, markers and lume pip on the bezel.
This model appears to be in complete original condition with the dial showing some light ageing and the hands show some obvious patination. This timepiece has sapphire crystal.
This watch uses the Omega quartz cal 1441 (ETA 255.561
This watch is in good original condition, the dials shows some clear ageing and the bezel and case have some light wear. Water resistance is not guaranteed.
