|Movement||Omega Manually Wound Cal 613|
|Case material:|| |
Here we have a rather different grey linen dial Seamaster from 1968 with a gold plated 34mm case, manually wound movement and slim profile.
The reference of this case represents two models, the Geneve Seamaster and the Seamaster 600, with little difference other than the words on the dial. This watch measures 34mm and has a screw down case with the Seamaster logo on the back (hence the same Geneve Seamaster). Generally linen grey dials do not come around often and any models we have found have always been dated t 1968 so it may be safe to assume this was only made in this year.
The movement is manually wound with a quickset date at 3 operated by pulling crown to second position. Applied gilt hour markers and pencil hands match the case and are original to the watch.
We have fitted a new black croc grain leather strap.
This watch uses the manually wound cal 613.
This has 17 jewels and a power reserve of 48 hours
Frequency of 19,800bph.
The watch is in overall fair condition. The dial shows some ageing and the plating case has worn in areas such as the lug and top of the bezel. The movement is clean, recently serviced and keeping good time.
