|Movement||Omega Automatic Cal 148|
|Case material:|| |
Here we have a cushion case 1970s gold plated Omega with a 31mm case, super clean dial and Omega leather strap.
The dial has a matte silver finish with gilt baton hour markers and a quick set date at 3. This also has it's original Omega crown.
The gold plated case has thin straight lugs which slightly resemble the wire lugs used on the 1930s and40s cushion case watches. This however has a much slimmer bezel than those.
The snap on case back is plain with just a raised part for opening up the watch.
The case back reveals the automatic Cal 1481 which is a relatively slim automatic movement and less bulky than the later 10XX series movements and ideal for a dress watch like this.
The overall look of this is a very classic design and will most likely look best with a shirt and trousers.
This watch uses the Omega Automatic Cal 1481
This has 21 jewels and has a 42 hour power reserve.
Frequency of 21,600.
This watch is in excellent condition with a clean dial, scratch free crystal, serviced movement and minimal wear to the gold plating.
