Here we have a beautful example of one of Omega's finest vintage dress watches, the Omega Constellation 'Pie Pan' Ref 167.005, in completely original condition, housing the automatic chronometer Cal 551.

This has a black dial, sword hands, and applied Omega logo, with aplied baton numerals.

The Omega beads of rice bracelet Ref 1037 with 570 end links) is correct for this age Constellation so is most likely the original one.

The chronometer certified cal 551 is among Omega's finest vintage movement, and this example is very clean and keeps very good time.

The 34mm case has a screwd down case back with the Observatory logo.

Finding a high quality vintage Omega in all original condition is quite rare. This even has the original Omega crystal.

This watch is in it's original condition, so the dial shows ageing, patina and some wear to the wording on the dial. The hands and markers also show ageing, we have not polished the case or restored any part of the dial as we prefer to keep this as it is.

The case does not show any particularly obvious marks or dinks, ony light general wear. The Omega crystal is in excellent condition.

The original corwn winds, pulls out and sets time perfectly well.

The bracelet shows some general light wear, but we have also decided not to polish this. This fits a 7.5 inch wrist on the largest clasp setting.

Water resistance not guaranteed and we certainly would not recommend use in water.

We are happy to post this item too.
