Here we have one of Omegas top end vintage dress watches with a chronometer graded movement, white gold bezel and integral bracelet.
The Constellation line produced by Omega was regarded as the premium dress watch line, as they all had chronometer movements, more ornate case designs and were often retailed at a higher price than some of Omegas other lines.
This model has a large case, measuring 36mm across but with a lug to lug width of 41mm. The silver dial features, stainless steel pencil hands, applied hour markers and a day/date display at 3. The date is quickset via pulling the crown to the second postion. There are 2 languages displayed: English and Spanish which would suggest this may have originally been retailed by a Spanish jeweller.
The case is very nicely finished with a satin finish to the top and sides, seperated by a polished bevelled adge The solid white gold coin edge bezel adds a decoraive touch and is a unique feature only used on Constellation models.
The screw down case back has a polished finish and displays the Geneva observatory..
The bracelet fits a 7.5 inch wrist on it's biggest setting.
The integral steel bracelet is tight with no stretching and no obvious wear.
Water resistance not guaranteed
This watch uses the Omega automatic chronometer cal 751.
