|Movement||Omega Manually Cal 920|
|Case material:|| |
Here we have a very interesting chronostop model dating to 1970 and made exclusively for the Italian market. This watch has a different shape from the other chronostop models with a perfectly round case rather than the oval shape usually seen in these models.This has a deep grey dial and white chronograph hand with the standard racing design around the edge.. This watch has a date aperture at 3 o'clock which is semi quick set.
This has a polished case, original signed crown and screw down case back (must be removed via specific tool).
This comes on an Omega bracelet, currently adjusted for a small wrist though does come with a spare link and clasp adjustment.
The movement in this watch offers excellent value for money, with the 'no date' 865 and 'date 920' both being simplified versions of the cal 861 used in the Speedmaster range for many years. This is a vintage complicated Omega made in limited numbers so offers a great option for any collection
This also has an Omega signed crystal.
With a case width of 40mm it has a more modern feel on the wrist too.
This watch uses the Omega cal 920, a manually wound chronograph movement (lacking registers). This has 17 jewels and a 40 hour power reserve.
Frequency of 21,600 bph.
This watch is in overall excellent condition. The polished case has not been polished by us as it is already in good condition, as is the crystal and bracelet. There are some signs of wear as to be expected with a vintage watch though no obvious scratches, dings or stains. The dial is clean and shows a very light patina.
