Gender: Gents
Brand: Omega
Movement: Omega Automatic Cal 332
Case material:

Gold Capped and stainless steel.

Here we have a fine example of a pre 50s Omega automatic. Many of the gent's watches produced around this period were around the 30-33mm mark, however this one is 36mm so for it's time was a very large watch. The dial is original withl thin leaf hands and applied dagger hour markers, both in a rose gold tone matching the case. There are some light ageing spots and a faint, even patina.

The case is possibly the most appealing aspect of this watch, as mentioned it sits at a relatively large 36mm with a rose gold capped case (bezel and lugs). Gold capping is where a thin shell of gold is placed ontop of the steel. This means it rarely wears through like plated watches tend to.

The fancy lugs add a very dressy feel to the case.

The case back is a stainless steel screw down and appears to still have the original black seal in, which we have left in there in order for a tighter seal when screwed up (though water resistance is never guaranteed with vintage watches).

The crown is a gold tone and not Omega signed which is correct for this period.

The crystal has had a light hand polish so shows no obvious scratches or marks.

The movement is a Cal 332 'Bumper' so does not rotate fully but bumps off of two springs opposite eachother.

We have fitted a new Hirsch black leather strap.
