18ct Yellow Gold
Here we have an attractive dress watch from Longines with an 18kt gold case, 2 hand movement and champagne dial.
This type of watch (with a width of 26mm) would not look out of place on a ladies wrist as well as a gents. The small movement sits in a fairly thick case which gives it a slightly larger feel than you may first imagine. This has a printed dial with slim straight lugs and a snap on case back. The original crown is also present on this piece.
The slim pencil hands are typical of a 60s dress watch with no lume.
It's quite likely the domed plexiglass crystal is also the original.
We have fitted a brown croc grain leather strap to this watch.
This watch uses the Longines manually wound Cal 19.4.
This has 17 jewels and a 42 hour power reserve
Frequency of 19,800bph.
The condition of this piece is very good. The case only shows very light wear, the crystal has been polished and the dial shows some patination towards the edges of he dial. Movement serviced by us and keeping good time.
