Longines Admiral HF 1972 Munich Olympics watch
This watch provides a chance to own something with some interesting history from a well respected brand. These watches were given to officials at the Munich Olympics in 1972 by Longines in a promotional effort, therefore were made in limited numbers. They have an engraved back that states 'Official Timer At The Olympic Games'.
The matte silver dial is in excellent condition with silver applied hour markers and hands.
The stainless steel case has no scratches or dinks and is a more modern size at 37mm excluding the crown.
The crystal is clear with no scratches or marks visible to the naked eye.
The High Frequency (28,000 bph) Longines 6942 movement keeps very accurate time and a smooth sweeping second hand.
This watch comes on a new unworn brown leather strap with the original Longines buckle.
The original crown pulls out and sets time perfectly well.
