Stainless Steel

Here we have a fine example of a watch from IWC's iconic pilots watch range. This watch offers huge value and while this has a more complex dial than the earlier pilots watches, it maintains it's tool functionality. This timepiece has bold, easily read features, large crown and pushers as well as a large solid steel case.

The dial includes the tradition pilots watch features such as the large hour numerals and simple minute track which are coupled with thick highly lumed hands creating a high contrast against the black dial.

This watch has a running seconds at 9, 30 minute counter at 12 and 12 hour register at 6, with a central chronograph hand. This has a day and date feature at 3, this is quick set via the crown.

The case is 42mm excluding the crown, which is a modern size but not extremely large and with a brushed steel case and modest lugs it does not have an obtrusive feel on the wrist.

The chronograph pushers and crown are large (traditionally featured on pilots watches to make time adjustment quicker and easier with flight gloves on).

As you would expect, this watch uses sapphire crystal (slightly domed).

This has a minimalistic screw down case back simply stating IWC and Fliegeruhr (Pilots Watch).

This watch comes on it's original black leather strap with all boxes and papers (only item missing is the cleaning coth).
