Here we have a fine example of IWC's Aquatimer range. This presents us with some bold features, bright colours and a serious depth rating!

The first thing you will likely notice are the hands, which are unique as they are both filled with different colour lume, The hour hand and applied baton hour markers are white while the minute hand and second hand tip are both yellow. This is probably one of the most instantly readable dials there is. There is however a reason for this, as it has a depth rating of 2000m, and if you were ever to be this far down, it's ikely there would be no natural light. (assuming you also forgot your dive computer). Therefore although we consider this a luxury watch it stays true to it's tool watch heritage. The dial is black with a painted white minute track.

The bezel also stays true to the watches purpose and has a clear grip ring around it's edge, suitable for turning the bezel with gloves on, and the bold yellow 15 minute counter provides a little more uniqueness to the design. The case is large and measures 44mm excluding the crown. Since this is a large watch a brushed steel finish has been given tothe case meaning it isn't overbearing on the wrist. A large screw down crown ensures adjustment of time amd date is very easy. The screw down case back is minimalistic and also has a brushed steel finish to it.

This watch comes on it's original rubber diver's strap with a stainless steel buckle.

To summarise this piece you essentially have a well thought out design that stays true to its dive watch purpose while being unique from the more classic diver designs such as the Submariner or Seamaster 300m.

This comes with it's full set, including box, the two booklets, warranty card and spring bar tools.
