DEN-RO Manually Wound

Case material:

Stainless Steel

Here we have an interesting vintage complicated watch. Time only, day/dates and chronographs are plentiful though we do not see so many triple date moonphase watches in good condition. These are interesting pieces as the date is shown via a pointer hand and the moonphase is displayed at 6. Rather than pushers the complications are controlled by small pushers witch are pressed in with a pin.

The dial is a whitish colour with gold colour applied hour markers and day and month window below 12. The pointer hand displays the date along the border of the dial. The hands show a soft brownish patina to the lume.

Herala are not a brand we particularly famiiar with and were likely retailers rather than watchmakers. This watch uses the manually wound DEN-RO movement, a swiss movement maker.

The stainless steel case is 32mm typical of a 50s watch, and has a snap on case back, also signed DEN-RO.

This is an interesting and clean original piece!

Technical Details

This watch uses a DEN-RO 17 jewel manually wound movement. Information on this particular caliber is very limited. More information will added soon.
