Here we have a Hamilton Jazzmaster 'Petite Seconde' ref H325550, with a large 42mm stainless steel case, bold textured dial with a running seconds dial at six and a display case back.
The first thing you will notice on this Hamilton watch is the dial design. The centre of the seconds dial has a sunburst finish which extends to the hour marker track where a more subtle dial finish can be seen. The white seconds dial has a fairly discreet hand which makes a change from the usual seconds hands which reach the outer edge of the sub dial.
There is also an overlapping 60 minute track in the dial centre which will allow for more precise reading of the time though appears to be mainly a quirky design featue.
The steel Hamilton logo and applied hour markers also add some depth to the dial.
The 42mm polished case, alongside the bold dial means this is quite the 'eye catching' piece and perfect for someone who would like a timepiece from a quality brand, with a quirky design and in a sensible price bracket.
This comes on a new aftermarket black leather strap with original Hamiton pin buckle.
This watch uses an ETA 2895-2 automatic movement.
27 jewels with a 42 hour power reserve (this may differ slightly due to age).
Frequency of 28,800bph (high beat)
We have replaced the crystal with a new plexiglass so this is scratch free.
The case has only light general wear with no obvious dings or scratches.
The sapphire crystal caseback is scratch free.
The crown winds, pulls out and sets the quickset date (at 6) perfectly well.
The movement is clean and keeps excellent time.
