Movement Buren Cal 1280 Automatic
Case material 9kt Yellow Gold

Here we have an interesting 70s Hamilton, with a simple dress design to the case and dial, but with the Buren micro rotor automatic movement.

The 33.5mm case has a slim polished bezel, straight lugs and a snap on case back. The width of the case is only 7.8mm which is very slim (considering this includes the domed crystal). The dial has a matte silver finish with gilt pencil hands and applied hour markers.

The most interesting feature is most likely the movement. This is a Buren cal 1280. Hamilton used Buren movements upon until they were bought out in 1971 by Swatch and Buren was then liquidated as ETA movements were then used instead.

Scratch free plexiglass domed crystal.

This movement not only has the smaller rotor, but also boasts a 52 hour power reserve and tighter regulating to the balance.

This watch also comes with it's original purchase receipt, watch 'passport' and guarantee. The box has unfortunately got damaged hinges, but other than that, all accessories are in fine condition.

We have fitted a quality black leather strap with a gold plated pin buckle.
