Case material:

18kt Yellow Gold

Here we have a very elegant Glycine Chronometer in 18kt yellow gold.

The dial has a gold textured finish to it, with black printed font, and is surrounded by a very attractive patterned bezel with polished hour markers.

The large gold hands are polished and provide enough contrast to make this an easily read dressy timepiece.

The 18kt gold case is a modest 25mm though the case is quite thick and due to it's rectangular shape this has a bigger feel on the wrist.

The movement has just been serviced and as you would expect, is keeping excellent time.

Technical Details

This watch uses an AV (Aurore-Villeret) Cal 423 manual wind chronometer certifed movement.

21 jewels with a 42 hour power reserve (though this maybe less due to age and past mmaintenance).

Frequency of 18000bph.

The dial is completely original so does show some ageing marks, the hands are in excellent condition with no signs of corrosion.

The crystal has been polished so any marks seen in photographs are much less apparent to the naked eye.

The case has been given a light hand polish to remove any micro scratches, so although it still has some slight wear, it is in very good condition.

A new black leather strap has een fitted.

The movement has been fully serviced and is clean, lubricated and keeping excellent time.

The crown winds, pulls out and sets time perfectly well.
