9kt Yellow Gold

Here we have a charming gold dress watch from a generally underrated brand- Cyma. This brand made watches for the military (one of the Dirty Dozen watchmakers) and also made some quality divers pieces such as the 'Divingstar' models. The company was established in 1862 so the brand carries a long history in watchmaking. They also made a lot of interesting dress watches in gold in the 50s and 60s including the 'Navystar' which is what we have here. The 'Cymaflex actually refers to the patented anti shock system used in the balance staff and over 20 patented technological innovations were used to make this watch perform under difficult conditions.

This example has applied gold baton hour markers with a clean white dial and gold hands. The case measures 33mm, has straight lugs and a snap on case back (with presentation engraving). The crown is unsigned though appears to be original.

We have fitted a new black croc grain leather strap to this watch, with a gold plated buckle.
